First, before travelling, check local and national weather forecasts at www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast to stay up to date on the latest warnings. Next, get live traffic and travel information from England’s Highways Agency, Scotland’s Transport Scotland, Wales’ Traffic Wales and Northern Ireland’s TrafficwatchNI.
